Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
A baby was strapped to my back, while another crawled around in the playpen. I worked 12 hour days, for months, sanding and removing wallpaper, with one child. Ha! Ha! It all started to make sense, but was still far from being done. It would take an enormous amount of effort and my personal favorite brands to furnish this home. For my budget to remain sound, I travelled with my three boys in search for bargains at estate sales. Our weekly routine that included spending the week of Thursday to Saturday scouring sale houses and garages, shopping for new and used items. The rest of the week painting and sanding on the driveway. The furniture I found looked similar to... that's the moment my love for restoring furniture started. When our home was furnished I couldn't put it down! There was a place on the market in town in which I sold my items. My collection eventually grew so large that the room I had available was no longer adequate. Over 1000 people visited my home over the course of a weekend, to shop for everything on the ground floor. Growing Days was founded in my own home. As my business flourished, so did our little family. The balance between work and family was crucial to me. I wanted to balance being a mother as well as a business owner who was successful. Growing Days seemed like the best combination. The year 2013 was the year my daughter Nora was our fourth baby. The direction of my business was fantastic, but I had to rest for a while. I decided to stop working on my antique furniture for a few months and stay home with the kids. It was just what I wanted. After a while. Many people called me for help on home improvement and decorating. They had mainly been to my home during open houses that were held for furniture. As I went along I added new clients in a series of. It wasn't too that long before I was managing several clients, and had a successful home remodeling business. I'm sure you would have laughed at me had I had told you that this was going to be the subject of a DIY Network tv series. As I reflect back, it still makes me laugh.
