Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974 in Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically acclaimed performances of naive and charming characters. Adams was among seven siblings who grew up when she was a kid in the city of Castle Rock, Colorado. Her birth was during the time that her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. Mid-1990s, she started doing professional dance and performance at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. When she moved to Minnesota where she was a part of the mock-documentary film Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) which focused on beauty contests. Her screen debut was a huge success with the role of an annoying but pleasant contestant, Janet relocated from Minnesota to Los Angeles where she began professional acting. Janet Leigh married Tony Curtis between June 1951 between June 1951 and September 1962. The couple had children: Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and started her career as a film actress during the latter half of 1940s. She appeared in several popular movies in the subsequent decade including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis-film from 1954).
