Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Her father was a young man when he began to take an interest in theater. While studying of Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University and in Atlanta. He joined the military in 1953 and, while working in Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the air force. They got married in the year 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter along with his wife were discharged from the Air Force in after which they began enrolment with Walter in Tulane University. In 1960, the family relocated from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of the local Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou established their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for 6 years. In 1965, they welcomed two new children: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
